Seersucker sedge plants flowering, Mason County, MI, April 2010
This sedge is one of the easiest to identify by its broad puckery leaves. Also called plaintainleaf sedge. Plants may grow over 2 feet tall. Grows in meadows and woods, and does not require as wet a habitat as most sedges.
